**June 26, 2010: Join us at Kings Beach in Lynn at a Hands Across the Sand event!**

Show up between 11:00 a.m. and 12 noon. At noon, we will all hold hands, symbolizing our stance for protecting our shorelines and saying YES to Clean Energy and NO to offshore drilling. After 12:15 p.m. folks from Wakefield and other WCAP friends will gather for a picture with the WCAP poster AND Hands Across the Sands and No Offshore Drilling signs to send to our elected officials.

Board member Sherri Carlson spearheaded the WCAP response to an editorial in the January 4, 2010 edition of the Wakefield Daily Item (editorial not available on the Item website) that was reprinted from an article originally published by the Jacksonville Daily Times on Deceber 30, 2009.
